Evacuated Blood Tubes

Capped sterile tubes with an internal vacuum are commonly used to collect venous blood specimens; products are available in various materials, with various stopper types and anticoagulants.

The Blood Collection tubes are used to determine EDTA whole blood for hematology. They are available with K2EDTA, K2EDTA Separator and K3EDTA. K2EDTA tubes contain dipotassium K2EDTA, which blocks the coagulation cascade.
